Welcome to Pezzolo, the home of Trinacria
Trinacria Theatre Company is a nonprofit organization with roots in both the USA and in the small, rural Sicilian village of Pezzolo. We are dedicated to fostering high-quality opportunities for international artists within communities that don’t typically have access to the arts. Through initiatives such as international artist residencies, community outreach, and the annual Trinacria Arts Festival, we aim to create spaces for intercultural exchange and community building.

Theater Company
We develop original performances based on local folklore and myths. Our shows are developed with professional artists and are performed both in Pezzolo, and toured throughout the world.

Trinacria Arts Festival
We organize and host the annual Trinacria Arts Festival each year in Pezzolo, a series of free artistic events focused on community engagement and featuring both local and international artists.

Artist Residencies
We create opportunities for artists from around the world to join us for artist residencies in Pezzolo, where they can get away from distractions, focus their practice or projects, and engage with our community.

Sentiero Bettaci
This historic trail in Pezzolo was recently restored by a group of young volunteers. The path leads to an antique water mill and aqueduct bridge, and our guided hikes offer an immersive blend of nature, history, and culture.
