The Trinacria Arts Festival invites audiences to experience a vibrant celebration of culture through a rich tapestry of performances, workshops, and visual arts. Festival events unfold all over our small but vibrant village of Pezzolo in Southern Messina, and include everything from contemporary performances to hands-on workshops, from bold visual art to traditional folk music. The festival showcases the creativity of our 2024 Residency Artists against the backdrop of our naturally beautiful village, alongside local artists. The 2024 Trinacria Arts Festival celebrates the theme “Art for everyone” and will include opportunities for our community to engage with art at every levels - from spectator to active participant.

This year, we are also proud to celebrate the inauguration of the Sentiero Bettaci trail - a project spearheaded by members of the Pezzolo community to restore ancient walking paths leading to the village’s 16th century mill and beautiful four-arched aqueduct bridge, long overtaken by nature. The Festival will include guided nature hikes to these revitalized landmarks, as we cement Pezzolo’s place on the map for lovers of art, nature, and community.
