Trinacria Leaders Present at the National Conference on Outdoor Theatre in Santa Fe

Each October, theatre leaders gather for a multi-day networking event where conference attendees trade insights and explore new concepts. Organized by SETC, the conference is an opportunity to meet others in the industry and share experiences. The 56th National Conference on Outdoor Theatre was hosted by The Santa Fe Opera, Oct. 1-3, 2019.

This year’s conference featured Trinacria Theatre Company’s Founder & Artistic Director Mariagrazia La Fauci presenting a session titled “It Takes a Village: An Exploration of Place-Making Theatre in Italy.” Trinacria’s Executive Director, Elena Kritter, also presented a session based on her work directing and producing Night Witches titled “Developing New Work through Community Engagement.” Both sessions were supported by a generous grant from the Paul Green Foundation.

Ogni ottobre, i leader di teatro si riuniscono per un evento di networking in cui i partecipanti scambiano apprendimenti ed esplorano nuovi concetti. Questa conferenza è organizzato da SETC ed è un opportunità per incontrare altre persone lavorando nel settore e per condividere esperienze. La 56° Conferenza Nazionale sul Teatro all'Aperto era ospitata dal Santa Fe Opera, 1-3 ottobre 2019.

Quest'anno la conferenza ha ospitato Mariagrazia La Fauci, la direttrice artistica del Teatro della Trinacria. Lei ha presentato una sessione "Ci vuole un intero villaggio: Un esplorazione di teatro ‘placemaking’ in Italia". La direttrice esecutiva di Trinacria Elena Kritter ha presentato anche una sessione basata sul suo progetto Night Witches dal titolo "Sviluppare nuovi lavori attraverso l'impegno della comunità". Entrambe le sessioni sono stati supportati da una generosa donazione dalla Paul Green Foundation.
