Next year, 2022, marks the return of Trinacria’s Artist Residency & Arts Festival in the small village of Pezzolo, in Messina Sicily where we are working to make a difference for a small community. Pezzolo is a tiny village with a powerful history, beautiful landscape, and welcoming community, and Trinacria is working to make a difference for this small but vibrant place. 

By using the arts to revitalize community life in this small village, Trinacria is also working towards a global mission - we believe art has the power to transform small, local stories into powerful myths that can connect people around the world. Trinacria has already raised 80% of our end-of-year goal due to a generous donation from the Italian American Social Club and an anonymous matching donor - and we are aiming to raise just $5,000 more by December 31st to meet our goal.

Even a little goes a long way! Just $15 will cover an artist’s meals for a day, $30 will cover a day’s worth of transportation for the entire company, and $50 will cover an artist’s accommodations for a whole week. Every donation made in an individual artist’s name will go directly towards supporting their residency next summer.

For donors who set up a new recurring donation, you will be given an exclusive VIP link to livestream events directly from Pezzolo, plus some other goodies from Sicily headed your way next summer! All donors will have their name hand painted on a stone and hidden in the village during our annual #PezzoloRocks scavenger hunt.
